الانتخابات بين الأمل و اليأس

وبان التزوير الجماعي او تسويد البطاقات بشهادة احد القضاة
وهنا يتعجب المراقب من فساد وغباء المزوريين
ومن نزاهة وشجاعة هذا القاضي

ويبرز السؤال الأهم
كيف تجعل الموظف الفاسد يتصرف كقاضي امين
هل تخوفه من عذاب الآخرة
هل تأمنه اقتصاديا من الفقر و الحاجة
هل تثقفه وتعلمه اهمية الانتخابات النزيهة لمستقبل أولاده
هل يمكن تعليم الفضيلة
ومن يريد ويقدر علي تعليمها
هل يمكن فرض الفضيلة علي المجتمع
ومن يرغب و يقدر علي فرضها

الديمقراطية مبدأ سياسى إسلامى .. وأمركم شورى بينكم .. الديمقراطية تحوى إحترام الآخرين وعدم قصر حق ما على فئة وحرمان الباقى منه.. والعجيب أن الأمة الإسلامية فى تاريخها كله لم تنعم بهذا المبدأ إلا سنوات قليلة ! سبحان الله .. ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله

اول رمضان له في امريكا

جاء من مصر ليدرس في امريكا

وان مصر دولة واحدة من عشرات الدول المسلمة في العالم
ولكن لم يراهم
لم يتكلم مع اي منهم
يعلم بوجودهم ولكن لم يراهم حتي في التلفيزيون المصري
التلفيزيون المصري يجعلك تعيش مع الامريكين في غرف نومهم
تري الانجليز والفرنسيين
ولكن لا اثر لاندونسي ولالنيچيري مسلم

حتي جاء لأمريكا
اول مفاجأة له كانت خطبة الجمعة
الخطبة بالانجليزية
الخطيب امريكي اسلم علي كبر

نظر حوله فوجد حوالي ٣٠ مصري من ٣٠٠ مسلم في
الجامع

جلس في الجامع ليتناول الفطار في رمضان
يجلس جانبه بنجلاديشي دائم الابتسام
وهندي يعشق الكركيت

في هذه اللحظة تمني لو ان التلفيزيون المصري
يذهب ويقابل المسلمين
في العالم ويريهم
للمشاهد المصري
ربما حينها نعلم حقيقة بوجود مسلمين آخرين علي الارض

كيف يمكن للتغير ان يحصل.

الدعاء المستجاب

أنا قرأت في ذات يوم
ان امير المومنين عمر بن الخطاب

فكرت في هذه الكلمات لماذا يكون الدعاء صعبا
أليس المطلوب ان تقول يا رب اريد كيت و كيت
كيف يكون هذا صعبا

و عندما فكرت مرة اخري ادركت ان الدعاء لا يكون فقط بالكلمات
لا يعقل ان تترك الناقة بدون ان تربطها وتقول يارب احرسها لي
لا يعقل ان تجلس في المنزل و تقول يا رب ارزقني وظيفة
لا يعقل ان لا تشارك في الانتخابات و تقول يا رب خلصنا من الحزب الوطني

اعتقد ان الدعاء الصحيح هو كلمات ينطقها اللسان ويسبقها افعال تقوم بها اليد

ابتسامة طفل

اول مرة طفلته الرضيعة نظرت اليه لم يصدق انها تراه
و عندها فاجئته بابتسامة سريعة
هذه الابتسامة جعلته يشعر بانه حقق إنجازا لم يحققه بشر من قبل
لم يشعر بهذا الشعور بالفخر طوال حياته
رغم ان كل الذي فعله انه كان هناك عندما ابتسمت هي
ورغم ذلك يشعر ان له دور في هذه المعجزة

عند تلك اللحظة دار بعقله سؤال عن شعور هؤلاء الذين يفقدون أطفالهم في الحروب
كيف يشعرون تجاه القتلة
هل تستطيع الأيام ان تنسيهم ابتسامة أطفالهم

There are two mentalities working here:

1) One that looks to every thing we have as an opportunity to make money and fuel the egyptian economy.

2) The other looks to what is left to us from our grandparents as something to protect and deliver unharmed to our sons. It is not really ours; we are simply keeping it safe for the next generation of egyptians.

In Europe they hardly have this conflict since the Europeans managed to almost completely damage their cities in the two world wide wars they started.

This is also not a conflict in USA and Canada since there nothing "old" there to start with.

So in short this conflict is not really something that most westerners would feel strongly about it. Maybe after 3000 years or so when they will have old stuff of their own they would appreciate the challenge we Egyptians face when a rich person like Ms. Campbell wants to use our oldest temple as a background for her wedding reception.

I finish by saying that being proud and poor could feel better to some Egyptians than being rich and feel abused or humiliated. Money is not always every thing.

Robin Hood and 2500 muslims

Just finished watching the movie robin hood by Russell Crowe. Quite different from the previous version by Kevin Costner. Quite deep and more ideas than sensation.

At one scene very strong words were said when the soldier Robin was being asked by King Richard the lion heart:

-Would god be pleased with my sacrifice (in the crusades).
-No Siar
-why would you say that
-because of the massacre of acre. When you ordered us to herd 2500 Muslim men women and children. The woman tied under my feet was looking to me. It was not a look of fear or anger but that of A pity. She knew that when we would kill them we will all be godless.

Strong words were also said by Robin to king John:
He told him a king cannot demand loyalty without granting justice.
He told him that if he empower all men in england to work and eat from their sweat, he King John, would be stronger. He told him that the people of England is asking for their liberty.

I wish someone in Egypt show that movie to Hosni Mobarak



There was nothing like that of the movie made by Costner. The only reference was showing him in a Turkish prison at the beginning of the movie.

روبي حفيدة حسني مبارك ؟!

في الراديو هنا النهاردة كان بيتكلموا عن رئيس الوزراء الايطالي اللي اتصل بالبوليس علشان يفرجوا عن بنت مغربية اسمها روبي (كريمة) علشان هيه حفيدة حسني مبارك

أنا مش فاهم اشمعني اختار حسني مبارك علشان ينسبوا ليه البنت

و بعدين ليه يكذب بعبط كده ميقولوهم طلعوها علشان ديه شغالة في المخابرات مثلا ولا ديه تبع مكافحة الارهاب و شغالة في التجسس علي العرب في ايطاليا

الناس ديه بتبقي رئيسة وزراء ازاي بس

a letter from myself 10 years ahead

I heard about this movement where people say in their 30 write a letter to themselves when they were 20. Only they give it to someone who is actually 20 right now as an advice.

So If I am to receive a letter from myself at 2020 what would it say? Would it thank me for working hard at 2010 to become rich or famous or ... will it blame me for not doing the correct things, wasting time and not saving money to make sure I live comfortably at 2020. Will it thank me for reading a book at 2010 that made me wise at 2020 or will it blame me for not thinking strategically at 2010 to be in the right place in life in 2020 and 2030, ...

Time is flying. One needs to ask what has he/she done today for tomorrow and the next year and the next decade. Are you investing in yourself? Educating yourself? Taking care of yourbody? Or are you so tired you just live a day by day? Is this an execuse? Or we have to continuously thinking about the next 10 years?

I wish every one write a list of the things he wants in 10 years and put a road map to what he is doing today, this week and this month to get these goals achieved in 10 years period.

For myself:

- I think I would like to have nicer car in 10 years (so I have to cut spending and save).

- I want to buy a house in Egypt for my summer vacation (that I mean I really have to save then!)

- I would like to be more successful in my work in 10 years (so I have to invest in teaching myself new skills, be more productive with my time, be more smart where I put my energy, pick the hourse that will win in my field in 10 years and start getting the necessary expertise to be the jockey!

- I want Egypt to be in a better shape. Not necessarily rich but safe, democratic, just society (so I have to keep blogging then ... any thing else I can do? I sent money there!)

- I want USA to be more muslim-friendly (so I have to work harder and show Americans around me how muslims are good people. Yes, unfortuantely, you actually have to prove it here to them).

- I want the world to be a better place for all humans. Less killing, less diseases, less hunger ... (Well for that one I have to a venue to help ... may be act locally within my community?! but I really want to help people all over the world not just those around me ... Should I volunteer for stuff overseas?)

- I want my family to be well (So I have to put time into it or do I have to work to get money or it should be a balance between money and time).

Well ... that is my list for/from 2020.
